Mixcast 4 makes professional content creation easy. The Tascam MIXCAST 4 is a mixing station that makes creating content easy. You can use it for podcasts, live streaming, event production or voiceover work. It allows you to mix and record microphone inputs, internal sounds and music with built-in trigger pads. You can also mix and record by connecting the MIXCAST 4 to your smartphone or PC. It is an easy and intuitive recording device for productions of up to 4 people.

Stress-free touch panel control

The MIXCAST 4 provides you with 4x Mic Inputs (TRS/XLR combo jacks) and 4x Individual Headphone Outputs (with independent volume controls). There is also a pre-installed auto-mixing function that will automatically adjust optimal levels for you and even set mic priority with no troublesome configuration. This fast turnaround workflow allows you to achieve a perfect mix. The MIXCAST 4 also features a 5-inch colour touch screen that will provide you with quick and intuitive access to desired menu control settings. It also provides visual feedback of audio levels including sound pad sound effects that are active.

One-stop workstation with a variety of functions

Additional features that will enrich your production capabilities include; 14-track multi-track recording that allows you to directly record onto the unit’s SD card. Bluetooth capabilities provide you with a wireless operation that allows mixing and recording phone calls with mix-minus. The AUX IN (3.5mm) connection will allow you to easily mix and record phone conversations as well as additional sound sources. This is a Stereo (Line In) that is selectable between TRS and 3.5mm TRRS. Finally, the PC connection will allow you to import sounds from the computer directly onto the MIXCAST 4.

Enhance content with real-time sound effects

The 8x sound pads with 8x banks on the MIXCAST 4 are fully customizable. They feature sound effect presets however, you can assign new sounds including pre-recorded mic sounds that have been recorded on the unit. Furthermore, they also allow for easy on-time voice effects to be used such as; voice transformation and reverb to give you more flexibility for live streams and recordings.

Bundled with TASCAM Podcast Editor dedicated software

The TASCAM Podcast Editor offers you simple and practical editing features of audio content. You can arm a track and configure an assignment for sound effects. Even assign background music to your sound pads. Best of all, you don’t need expert knowledge using DAWs because the software provides you with intuitive graphics that will help you record audio easily.
