SYSTEMS
1. Live Sound - Small band street performance
This setup supports small band street performances by mixing vocal microphones, guitars, keyboards, and Bluetooth background music through the MGX12.
Audio from each instrument and microphone is routed into the mixer and sent to the FOH speakers for live sound reinforcement.
The mixed audio is also delivered via USB to a computer for recording in Cubase, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to a microSD card in the MGX.
2. Installed Sound - Small live club
This setup is designed for small live clubs, mixing vocals, guitars, keyboards, and playback sources through the MGX16.
Multiple microphones, instruments, and Bluetooth or CD playback audio are routed into the mixer and sent to the FOH system and stage monitors for clear live sound coverage.
The mixed audio can also be sent via USB to a computer for playback or recording in Cubase, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to the microSD card in the MGX.
3. Podcast with four speakers
This setup supports a four-person podcast by integrating studio microphones, remote guests, playback sources, and jingle cues through the MGX16.
Audio from four MC microphones, USB-connected remote participants, CD or DJ playback devices, and jingle sounds triggered from the MGX sound pads is mixed and routed to both studio and control-room monitoring.
The mixed audio is sent via USB to a computer for recording and streaming in Wavelab Cast, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to the microSD card in the MGX.
4. Production – Mobile Recording
This setup is designed for mobile recording, capturing dialogue, boom mic audio, and sync tones through the MGX16.
Audio from three MC microphones, a boom microphone, and sync tones triggered from the MGX sound pads is mixed and delivered to individual monitoring headphones for on-site checking.
The mixed audio is sent via USB to a computer for recording in Cubase, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to the microSD card in the MGX.
