The JP071 is a durable and warm sounding Bb student cornet, ideal for getting new learners off the mark and progressing quickly. A favourite within the UK education system, the JP071 has set a high standard for reliability, performance and affordability. Featuring a rose brass leadpipe, the instrument easily delivers an attractive tone that is sure to encourage players to keep practicing. Designed with new starters in mind, the JP071 has mobile 1st and 3rd valve slides and features waterkeys on the main tuning slide and third slide. Comparing very well against many of the more expensive instruments from other established brands, it is no wonder the JP071 has become so popular with cornet students today.

The JP071 Bb Cornet is constructed from yellow brass throughout with the addition of a rose brass leadpipe and features a standard cornet bell. The instrument has been designed using a medium large bore configuration, providing the ideal resistance for younger players.

The JP071 is supplied with a JP603 (4B) mouthpiece as standard and comes equipped with a high quality case for maximum protection. The case is lightweight, well-designed and attractively styled with a reflective safety strap and external pocket. Backpack straps and a comfortable shoulder strap are included as standard.
