The Maton Australian EA80C Series guitars have taken on a new look. The Australian Series is the culmination of over 50 years of building guitars from Australian timber. This classic guitar features newly tuned, scalloped braced tops with more refined solid select grain Blackwood back and sides. The backs have been radiused to help create a greater tonal spectrum with focus on classic Maton earthy tones resulting in more bottom end response. The Necks have been upgraded to solid Blackwood timber and in keeping with the Australian theme, now have a Desert Acacia (Mulga) fingerboard and Bridge. Finally the Australian series now comes with the Maton UV cured paint finish, a finer coat for a finer tone. A new MOP Australian Decal adorns this exciting guitar. This uniquely Australian guitar sits right up there with the best the world has to offer. This model can be ordered as a left handed instrument and also includes the option of cutaway or standard non-cutaway versions.
